Water cremation for Tweed Heads and the Tweed Valley.
Tweed Shire · From $2,640 incl GST
The Gentle Way offers water cremation to Tweed Heads and the Tweed Shire in northern New South Wales. The Tweed is home to one of Australia's most environmentally engaged communities, sitting between the Pacific and the Mount Warning caldera, and local families have been asking for a low-emission alternative to flame cremation for years.
We care for families across Tweed Heads, Banora Point, Kingscliff, Pottsville, Murwillumbah, Uki and the Tweed Valley. Transfers from The Tweed Hospital, John Flynn Private and local aged care residences are arranged 24 hours a day. Being close to the border, we work comfortably across both NSW and Queensland requirements and handle the relevant paperwork for each.
Tweed families often want a farewell that reflects a life lived close to nature. Ours produces no methane and no greenhouse gases, and uses less than 10% of the carbon emissions of flame cremation — while returning the urn to you just as a crematorium would.
Where we travel
Not on the list? We travel well beyond these towns. Call us on 1300 464 368 and we'll tell you exactly what we can do and what it costs.
