Environmentally Friendly Option

A natural and eco-friendly Gentle Way process, that honours your loved one's life, wishes and legacy while respecting the environment. With no harsh chemicals or gases.

"Leave Your Memories,
Not Your Carbon Footprint".

Are you looking for a gentle alternative to cremation or burial? We understand that this is a deeply personal decision that requires careful consideration.

That’s why we offer a unique and compassionate option that honours your loved one’s memory in a special way, without leaving the environmental impact.

The Gentle Way Water Cremation Machine is Australia’s Only Alkaline Hydrolysis Provider that has a filtration system attached to the machine itself. We also show our machines proudly and allow families and funeral directors alike to come and look at the machine and we run them through how the system works, unlike other providers.

We encourage families to choose Water Cremation through Alkaline Hydrolysis for peace of mind, environmental responsibility, and exceptional care, but most of all the gentle attributes.

Make a Greener Choice Today With Water Cremation, you can honour your loved one while making a positive impact on the planet. Contact The Gentle Way to learn more about this innovative and sustainable alternative. Together, we can create a caring and eco-conscious legacy.

Families Want Water Cremation
In Australia

We’ve heard from thousands of families about the challenges of funeral costs and the lack of alternative options. But what if there was another way? Jeff is here to walk you through the process and give you an exclusive look at The Gentle Way machine—something most operations keep hidden behind closed doors.

NO. In the first stages of the process we add "Lye" the same product used to make soap. Meaning that the product itself is not Acidic or acid based.

When the process begins and the machine starts. Water is added, equivalent to a quarter of a standard bath tub. This meaning you are not underwater.

"The Gentle Way" is the most environmentally friendly and natural method of handling the end of life process, while also being the most affordable option for families to date.

Using natural elements like the sun (solar) and water (rain water) to complete the process, means there's no need for gas or diesel fuels to complete the cycle.

The Gentle Way could be completely self sustainable and wouldn't need connection to the grid or town water at all. Green, affordable and gentle.

We eliminate air emissions entirely, avoiding the production of methane gas and preventing any organic matter. It is completely pollution-free, with no toxic emissions or contribution to greenhouse gases.

This is one of the most asked questions to date, even with cremations. However we don't call the ashes, well ashes. This is because The Gentle Way process doesn't use fire at any stage through the process.
Before a Gentle Way cycle can begin, the main chamber must be completely empty. What does that mean? It means that there is no possible way for the loved ones "remains" to be mixed with any other persons. On completion of the process, you will receive an urn just like you would, had you chosen cremation. However as we want to do our part for the environment, we will also hand you a plant in memory of your loved one.
